SOUND & LANGUAGE

Welcome to distro.nadalex, the website of Sound & Language Distribution.

distro.nadalex is the online store of Sound & Language Distribution, a distributor and fulfillment service for recordings and printed matter, owned and operated by Alexis Bhagat.

Sound & Language Distribution is the North American distributor for the Journal of Aesthetics and Protest and for publications of the JOAAP Press. We include some art-activist publications from friends and fellow travellers of the Journal, including Michael Parker, Center for Urban Pedagogy and others. We look forward to including more works by friends of the JOAAP. (Don't hesistate to write if you're a past JOAAP contributor and have something you suggest we distribute!) And Sound & Language Distribution has the good fortune of operating from the Wordship II, the home and art-literary factory of Richard Kostelanetz and distribute items from the extensive back catalog of Archae Editions and Future Press. We have made the classics Text-Sound-Texts and Scenarios available here on distro.nadalex, and look forward to making all of Richard Kostelanetz's books on John Cage available for the Cage Centennial year.

Sound & Language Distribution is also always on the lookout for small and difficult to find books on sound, music, and transmission, and monographs on sound artists. We are building up a collection of books on sound to make available here on distro.nadalex in the coming year. You can also find here some eclectic books on art and culture including books from Autonomedia, artist books, journals like Scapegoat and Fuse and recordings from Gill Arno, Michael Northam and others.

Thank you very much for visiting distro.nadalex!
